KURT_DAVID's inaugural post offers a refreshing perspective on daily wear, showcasing his beloved Rolex Explorer II ref. 216570. His decision to actively use and appreciate this timepiece, rather than keeping it pristine, resonates with the original intent behind Rolex's robust tool watches. This article delves into the community's appreciation for a well-worn watch and the subtle nuances that make the Explorer II a collector favorite.

Hello
Been a voyeur here for years and suddenly felt the urge to post. My daily wear for past 4 years. I first encountered the brand mid 80โ€™s at my local AD and was gobsmacked, ยฃ861 for a watch. Yes, I was bitten.

All the best KD.

I had a hard time deciding between the white and the black Explorer. I went with the white but I may have to get the black too! All the best, Jon

I have to admit I was spoilt for choice when choosing, all models were available. Times have changed.

Thanks, I promised myself I would use it throughout (apart from work) my days and it does get a bit of abuse but thatโ€™s how they market them. Thereโ€™s just something about worn brushed oyster steel I love.
