Little to nothing is written about these early Rolex Prince models, but when I saw this one being offered, I knew it was a special watch.  The case engraving, the pristine Art Deco dial, the fixed lugs, all of it formed a gorgeous, albeit enigmatic, watch.

I hope to learn more about these watches that form some of the earliest offerings in Rolex’s catalog.

Cool! I wish Rolex would still make some vintage watch like such. One question: no writing of the brand on the dial? Was that common back then?
