White gold.  I do not own many white gold watches, in fact (unless I’m forgetting something) this is one of only two I own or have ever owned.

With the bracelet, the iconic President, there’s plenty of weight in this 36mm package to give one that heft on the wrist that is sometimes appealing.  Admittedly in recent years I’ve leaned much more towards lightness on the wrist with several bracelet watches I own.

This picture for earlier this week.

I wish I could say the same about the wearer (who is the same age but not so “timeless” 😂)

I am sure you are way too modest, my young friend.

Hard to argue against a Day Date.

I aspire to own another one some day. But one less precious, a true every day DD.

It’s an interesting one for me.

I’ve mentioned here before that I’m generally not a fan of roman numerals on watch dials as nine times out of ten I feel they give the watch too much of a “dated”vibe. But here, it works for me. And I think it’s the fact that the numerals are printed not applied. Thanks for looking.
