..at least for me, I ask myself, no - better, I also sometimes pretty quickly decide,
which tic-tac gets the nod
Lately, I've been wearing my other R's pretty much, ( when hot, I prefer bracelets)
but sort of have a bit escaped to pick my GMT1675 as a companion..

2 sugar candies: almonds & my GMT 1675

- This WE, we drove off into the countryside for a nice little summer excursion ,
first to a lake for some relaxing, reading and listening to live music there,
which comes from within a quite popular yearly small groups' festival..

- Lateron, if time permitted, some add'l nearby sightseeing was in our focus,
when we headed off..

Sorry for my sort of lengthy intro, should have been just framework, to give the
1675, Pepsi ( 1972) enough air and wrist- time and take her along....

For me, the flamboyant, happy colored appeal of the Pepsi dial, is a real summer &
leisure companion; I always tend to smile, when I take her along, for some fun stuff.
This also, as to me she is a typical Rolex no-nonsense, but a happy & exuberant choice..

Thus, hope you don't get bored to see my wrist, the blue/red summer watch
and some scenic pics on the way & around..

So, if you allow, just wanted to share some quick pics with you,
featuring the 1675..

A bit hidden but colorful

En route.. Summer clouds & red poppy seeds

Magnificent inner of the church with great paintings

Summer flowers in the big garden & side wing in the back

Hope you enjoyed the little encounters a bit
- we did...

Best, hs

About the Rolex GMT Ref. 1675

The GMT-Master reference 1675 is a significant model in the brand's history, representing an evolution from earlier GMT-Master references. It was produced for an extended period, allowing for numerous dial, bezel, and hand variations throughout its production run. This reference is notable for its introduction of crown guards, enhancing the watch's robustness and contributing to its distinct profile. It solidified the GMT-Master's design language, which would influence subsequent generations.

This reference features a 40mm case, available in stainless steel, yellow gold, or a two-tone combination of steel and yellow gold. It is powered by the automatic Caliber 1575, a chronometer-certified movement known for its reliability and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The watch is fitted with an acrylic crystal and offers a water resistance of 50 meters, suitable for everyday wear. The bidirectional rotating bezel, typically with an aluminum insert, displays a 24-hour scale.

For collectors, the 1675 is highly sought after due to its long production period and the resulting variety of configurations, including different dial types (gilt, matte), hand styles, and bezel colors (Pepsi, all-red, all-black). Its four-digit reference number and acrylic crystal are key characteristics that define it as a vintage Rolex. The reference appeals to those interested in the historical development of the GMT-Master line and the nuances of vintage watch collecting.

???..you are right.. Actually in real it's a pretty nice ( creamy) patination, IMO.. ;)

.. never really thought about it.. - maybe also the color spectrum of the iPhone's lens plays a role, with another response to natural light ? - Are you having any idea ? A little food for thought.. Thx for kind looking, my friend ! Best, hs :)
