samwan's long-awaited Roger Smith Series Two arrived just before Christmas Eve, marking a significant milestone in his collecting journey. His initial impressions and detailed photographs offer an intimate look at this highly anticipated independent timepiece. This post provides valuable insights into the acquisition process and the unique craftsmanship of a Roger Smith watch.

I waited patiently for almost two years for the Roger Smith Series Two and....it came in just before Christmas Eve!!!

Amidst my excitement, you must pardon the mug shots taken with a smart phone...

It comes in a nice box - the C in the serial number stands for a commissioned piece

The box is made by David Linley - renowned UK furniture designer and son of Princess Margaret

First impressions....

Love the engraving on the dial

And on the crown

As well s on the plate and movement

Here is a mandatory wrist-shot

And time for celebration!!!

Merry Christmas to everybody!!!
Sam
