They won't serve that much time. It's not like they murdered anyone in LA to get 12 years. It was a simple misunderstanding that they thought the watch they took had actually belong to them. And the person that got shot in the leg? Well that was their fault for sitting there, otherwise they wouldn't have been shot. Sounds logical to me.
