Yes it is. The strong design cues invoke many "seaside" thoughts and I always feel relaxed when I put it on. The construction quality is superb - typical RM - and the complications useful. The 50mm size is of course the main aspect that startle some. I quickly got use to it and the curved case back makes it extremely comfortable. The size is actually useful when you put on a rain/wind/snow jacket. The height keeps the sleeve from covering the watch, hence you can glance at the face without pulli
