daniel_coste's original post offers a concise, image-rich introduction to the Richard Mille RM 43-01 Ferrari, a highly anticipated limited edition. By presenting key figures and visuals without extensive commentary, daniel_coste invites the WatchProSite community to form their own opinions on this significant release, worn by F1 titans Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. This approach allows readers to immediately grasp the watch's exclusivity and design before diving into community perspectives.

Here's the RM 43-01 Ferrari
Worn by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, certainly the most popular drivers.

I won't comment.
Just leave as it is with the figures.

The Richard Mille RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari is limited to just 150 pieces in total โ€” 75 in grade-5 titanium and another 75 in Carbon TPTยฎ.
The price for the Carbon TPT version is set at CHF 1,350,000, while the titanium model is offered at CHF 1,150,000.
According to Richard Mille, 30 pieces have been produced to date, with the remaining 120 scheduled for production throughout this year and the next, with final deliveries expected by 2026.

I guess RM suits his โ€˜styleโ€™ more.

But they make my head hurt by just looking at the dial and not just these models either but most of them do. Now whilst I can appreciate the craftsmanship involved in creating and making these plus the use of unique and light materials as well as their innovation with their movements they are just not my cup of tea at all. I know RM doesn't make large numbers of watches per year but do wonder just what percentage of them sit on F1 teams wrists? as there seem to be a lot on their wrists. Marc

While the number of RM watches may not be the least produced it most certainly isn't mass produced by any stretch of the imagination. I don't quite understand what FP Journe or Dior have to do with it as far as I know neither sponsor F1 teams or drivers or give them any watches do they? If it was possible to count the amount of watches worn by F1 drivers and team members it would not surprise me if it came to at least 50 or more. So maybe it is just 1% or so of production and that was what I was

I was mentioning the figures of FP Journe which is having more recognition the past years and Dior as a brand with huge awareness (was expecting much more). Nothing related to F1 indeed. In 2023 RM sold 5600 units. 2864 in 2014. Source : en.wikipedia.org e Greubel Forsey sold 255 units in 2024

The tonneau shape is probably THE most comfortable ever, so it's not exclusive to RM, but it's something you feel, it fits like a glove. I'm over all the price insanity of the last few years and although they may seem expensive (actually they are), there are also great mechanics from R&P. RM belongs to the millionaire and billionaire status quo, the hard boile customers are happy to pay some money that is only for the ultra rich, I guess few are really interested in what's inside.
