KIH offers a compelling on-wrist review of the Richard Mille RM27-01, captured during Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong. This post provides an intimate look at the ultra-light tourbillon, focusing on its unique suspended movement and the striking aesthetic of its case and strap. Readers gain insight into the tactile experience and visual impact of this highly engineered timepiece.

@ Watches & Wonders in HK!

Usual "close" encounter....

Even "closer" encounter... smile

Although this is not that small, but feels smaller than 27, thus makes you feel even lighter (just 2g in actuality, though).  I, non-owner, did feel it lighter....

Instead of the base plate, the movement is floating with the wires.....

Color...  it's everybody's taste, but I am okay with it and the matching strap looks smarter to me.....

Wonderful "machine"!

Ken

grown on me. Initially, I was of the thought of 'whats the point', but as I have learned more about the watch, I am more of the opinion that it is something amazing. Tensile steel cable at 0.35 mm thick, holding a movement tested at about 1000G in place. Quite phenomenal! I would have preferred the black casing, but nice difference. Thanks for the photos and report Ken. Andrew H

Stunning timepiece. Love it! Not on my wrist at the SIHH, so it's nice to see it on yours. What can I say about it? :) Thanks a lot. vte

The grey case is even more special and understated (for such an outstanding watch) and therefore I love it, but in general I agree with you.

Looks like you are having much fun there. I love the "roughness" of the case. Very interesting.
