In a candid post, WatchProSite member jenjames shares a common collector's dilemma: acquiring a highly sought-after Richard Mille RM 055 Bubba Watson in black, only to find it never quite resonated. His experience highlights the unpredictable nature of watch collecting, where even desirable pieces can fail to connect with their owners. This thread explores the emotional and practical aspects of owning watches that don't quite 'click,' offering insights into how collectors navigate these situations.

Hope you will find use for this piece.
Hard to grow on you sitting in the safe. I think that looks much better than white version.
You should have no problem selling it
Some watches you never "connect" with. Thankfully, at this point, I am pretty confident knowing what watches will be a keeper, and what ones will be a fling, and I can buy as such....
something similar happened to me... I bought an important piece, loving it from day one, it was meant to mark a significant achievement At the end this achievement turned out to be a failure... So this piece is reminding me more the failure, the bad moments I lived, how much I was impacted... this piece now is taking dust in the bank safe... Something similar..., the major difference is that I love it, and would like not to be so double-linked with a sad moment in my life Ciao, always safe, heal
Have you thought about putting it on a strap with some colour, the white strap would work well, but pretty much any bright colour will work for this. It may make you see the watch differently.
