Richard Mille - One Off Collection in YOKOHAMA 2012

This is the photo report of the Richard Mille event where new/ rare pieces (as well as often seen models) gathered from all over the world at a very nice venue - Yokohama, my home town at the bay view hotel banquette room.  Nice atmosphere, surroundings reminded me of very fond but sad memories.  The exact hotel where I and my late wife had the engagement party (with just two families), nearby is the spa/ hot spring where we went together with my sister's family but my father passed away a few years ago as well.  Well, the time flies.  I had been avoiding these places, but it is not right.  It is time to move on already.  Anyway, when I got the invitation, I felt some meaning of this opportunity and I thank RM Ginza Boutique manager, Shigeta-san who has now become a very good friend of mine very, very much for that.

There were so many pieces I want to show you, so please read on the child thread of this for the beautiful pieces of RM.  You would not see these pieces at one place so often.  I guarantee it.

Ken

Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel - the venue

A lot have changed in the past years.

Inside the room

Just a part of the collection which you may see often.

Ocean view, of course.

Wish the weather were better - called "Bay Bridge".

As always, special thanks to Shigeta-san, the Ginza Boutique Manager, and Moriyama-san who spent such a long time with me.  I always feel at home when I visit RM Ginza Boutique.  Thank you.

Richard Mille 011

There have already been many variation of 011 and here are yet another "rare" editions. Yellow Sapphire 011 - I was not bold enough to ask to handle it.... Now, this is Black Sapphire 011 and look s all right. See the side of the case top ha s stones? Case side is DLC Titanium. Now, this is 01 1 Japan Edition - LE of 10. Very nice coloring. See the white and red surrounds the dial? Around the date window is NOT green, but black on this edition. The rotor 's moment can be adjusted by moving the "

Interesting to see RM011's with jewels now

I personally don't think they look that great but then again I'm not the intended target customer. The setting of the stones on the side of the case - that's the first time I've seen someone do this. Thanks for the report Ken! Cheers, Anthony

Richard Mille 016, 019, 021, 022, 030

I heard that Japanese women finally started paying attention (comes to boutique without chaperoned by her husband or boyfriend) to RM and 016 is one of the most popular. 019 021 RG 022 Bunch of 028s, various versions 037 RG I am okay with this. But, do you think the strap is too thin for men? 030 Very light. NIce. Wish it had tourbillon.... But maybe a bit too big for my wrist....
