steered and went around the corner (usually laughing). If I tried to exceed traction limits in my Beetle I would end up on two wheels, I counter steered immediately in the hopes of getting all four back on the ground to avoid rolling the car. I might have chuckled a bit but only because I survived my foolish indiscretion.

This is one of the best colors for the 356, slate gray, a color I considered when painting mine but decided I needed to use my car’s original color, light ivory. Since it’s a numbers matching car I didn’t want the color to stray from that originality.
