I really really like platinum, it’s the weight, it’s the color, the feeling.

I’m looking for platinum watches, I’m contemplating building a small collection of platinum watches. Value matters because I don’t have infinite funds. My dream watch is a Patek 5270P, but I have to admit that’s way too beyond my pockets.

Let me hear your suggestions, again, good value Pt watches.

Here is an image of the one I have currently (bought it years ago, a complete steal back then!)

That's a very interesting collecting theme, Platinum timepieces have lots of heft (pun intended) and an equally special charm...Congrats on seizing this beauty from FPJ, and I'm looking forward to seeing what your next choice is! ;-)

If you like *very* elegant/classic watches, a stunning and still relatively affordable Platinum Patek currently in production is the 5738P. See its official description at: Patek Philippe | Golden Ellipse Blue Dial Platinum Watch 5738P-001 Cheers from one of my favorite P watches (now available only on the secondary market though, at a premium):

First… you have an amazing watch! Second… I like the 5738P, very nice recommendation, I will keep an eye. I think that’s something I would buy on a secondary market

My pleasure. And yes, at least an isolated purchase, it does seem to make perfect sense to buy a 5738 on the secondary market at the moment ;-) Cheers.

Oh yes, among discontinued pieces the 5110P (and 5130P) are also spectacular options to consider, which for some sort of miracle, are still incredibly undervalued!😉👍👍
