I met Mr. Pita in Tokyo at one of the World Watch Fairs a few months ago, and now his son is moving to Japan (or back and forth, I assume) and sent me the info on the new STB Collection and Titanium Roadster Version 2.

Mr. Pita, July, 2015 in Tokyo.

Now, The STB Collection

What does "STB" stand for?  It is "Steel, Titanium, and Bronze", which means the collection - Carousel and Minimal collection - now have those three types of cases available.

Please note that to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Master Watchmaker, Aniceto Jimenez Pita, only 68 timepieces will be available.  You can choose among a range of materials, dials, straps, hands and special finishing options to make your bespoke timepiece.

The timepieces in this collection feature Pita's innovative Time Setting Mechanism, a patented system allowing different implementations: a slow-motion tourbillon behavior in the Carousel, or the sleek and elegant crown-less Minimal.

And, now Titanium Roadster Version 2

The long-requested Titanium Roadster has just been released. This second version is a revision of the highly popular racing chronograph, more refined, sleek and now also in Titanium Grade 5.

Looks more sleek than the aluminum version.

Choose among the Graphite DLC coating, or the new micro matte finish.

As always, I am impressed with the cost/ performance ratio of Pita watches.  For example, Minimal starts from EUR2900 and Carousel from EUR4450, and Roadster from EUR3975.  Depending on the customization you request, the price may vary.  But they are all very reasonably priced.

Would love to see them in person, since Daniel Jimenez (son of Mr. Pita), now CEO of Pita Barcelona, will be in Japan so often.  Look forward to the actual piece report!

Best,
Ken

THanks Ken!

I never miss the opportunity to meet Aniceto and Daniel when I'm in Barcelona. I have a review of the Carousel in the pipe. Fx
