Last week was Piaget's media session to present the Rose High Jewellery collection created to celebrate thirty years of the Yves Piaget rose, at a boutique hotel located at one of Singapore historical landmarks, Hotel Fort Canning.

A short background about this legendary rose. During 1982, the winning rose was christened the “Yves Piaget” rose in the Concours International de Roses Nouvelle de Genève (Geneva International Competition of New Roses). Subsequently, the pale pink Neyron hue peony like rose, with more than 80 lace petals, won another three prestigious prizes - Diplôme de Médaille d’Or, Prix de la Ville de Genève, Coupe du Parfum-Rose d’or.
Incidentally Yves G. PIAGET is the President of Piaget.

The late morning session started with a preview of the Rose Collection consisting of jewellery and watches, followed by lunch and a short appreciation course of painting roses with watercolour.
