Recently, I overheard two different people describe PIAGET with diammetrically opposite statements.
1) PIAGET makes mainly ladies' jewel-set and quartz movement watches.
2) Most of PIAGET timepieces are mens' mechanical movement non-bling watches.
Which do you FEEL is the truth?

yet it seems that each speaker could use some Piaget educating. I think each statement shows an underappreciation for the brand as a whole and a failure to fully understand its various tallents. Piaget excells at making mechanical mens watches of the highest quality and at making jeweled quartz ladies watches. I think for each of the individual statements to be true you'd need to know what the production break down is for various models of mens and ladies watches. In the end, I suppose it might

My opinion is, for the most part, people who are not familiar with horology will probably agree with above point 1). And the same with 99% of the John Does you ask on the street. Why do I believe this? Because if you walk into an official Piaget Boutique, you will see a lot of jewelry and blinged out watches in the display cases. Piaget Boutiques
