Jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) shares his initial impressions of the Piaget Altiplano 900P, a timepiece he describes as both elegant and mechanically interesting. His post highlights the unique appeal of Piaget's ultra-thin dress watches and questions why he hadn't explored the brand sooner. This article delves into the community's appreciation for the Altiplano's engineering and aesthetic.

Wearing my one week old Piaget Altiplano 900P. Still very much in love with this ultra thin and mechanically charming wristwatch! My first Piaget and I wonder why I haven't bought a Piaget dress watch all these years until recently! Piaget is as good to me as my other haute horology dress watches, actually even more elegant and interesting! 😀 Some latest pics to share. Cheers Robin

Honestly it can beat dress piece offering from the three Kings

In my personal opinion the engineering that results in such incredible thinness is equally impressive, or even more impressive, than the engineering that goes into much more complicated, but also much thicker pieces that wear much heavier on the wrist.

Piaget is definitely one of the kings of dress watches for both women and men

And I see less of this combo compared to the rose gold silver dial or white gold black dial versions

Most importantly, this watch is too thin for a date window :p
