Deardorff8x10's post beautifully illustrates the enduring appeal of vintage luxury, pairing a rare Patek Philippe Ref. 530a sector dial from 1940 with a Barolo wine of the same vintage. This unique presentation invites readers to appreciate how horological and viticultural masterpieces can transcend time, offering a glimpse into their shared history and preservation. Deardorff8x10's personal insights into the wine's condition further enrich this fascinating juxtaposition.

1940 530a sector with Barolo. Wine and watch have survived.

This is on the right next to the paler 1942, which was fully maderized. 1940 still had nice color. We would have guessed’70’s.
