Fernando's initial apprehension about the Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Ref. 5524G quickly transformed into admiration for its everyday wearability and exceptional quality. His personal experience offers a valuable perspective on a reference that initially sparked considerable debate among collectors. This article delves into the community's insights on what makes this pilot's watch a compelling choice.

This has to be the best casual watch I own. From the dial to the case and finish, it absolutely lights up in the quality department.

Pics. don't do it any justice.

Thanks for looking,

fernando

The blue dial looks good and you captured it well in the photos. 👍

Really a great addition to any collection. Smart casual. I love it. How does it Feel on the wrist?

I was apprehensive at first but 42mm for a pilot watch is very reasonable & well proportioned. It's not bulky on the wrist due to it being relatively thin (about 10mm). I can understand the divisiveness for this one though.

It wears flat, feels substantial in terms of weight and conforms to my wrist very well.

Although very different for Patek they have done a great job with this one. Enjoy. M.
