GLau's post humorously explores the concept of 'fairness' in a marriage through the lens of luxury watch acquisitions and gifts from an Authorized Dealer. His sharing of a Patek Philippe gift to his wife, following his own recent acquisition, sparks a lively discussion among collectors about AD relationships, gift-giving, and personal collecting philosophies. This article delves into the community's varied experiences and perspectives on these topics.

As mentioned in my last post, a few days ago I was bestowed with a very nice travel bag, which made it unfair to my wife perhaps?

Actually my wife received the following a few months before me. Hence, I was the one who felt the unfairness in past months. Maybe my envy was the reason the Maison gave me the bag. All is good between my wife and I now. LOL! smile

Overall, I believe I got a better deal.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Gordon

IMO, I am definitely the winner but ...

the wife thinks otherwise! Whatever makes her happy I am fine with.
