This discussion explores the nuances of Patek Philippe ownership and the personal significance of milestone acquisitions.

A wonderful piece in G ! How is the heft and the blue dial in the metal ?
You feel enough of it but not something you feel weighing you down The “blue” if definitely more greyish .. I like it it as I have 2 other blue dials from patek so this is something new to enjoy
It looks right on your wrist and coincidentally I too spoiled myself with a Patek for my 60th in 2023. The 3878J discontinued in 1998 and purchased brand new from Patek due to a cancelled special commission by a VVIP
That’s something you don’t see often Congrats
Yes I too was surpised to see it on a display at the Patek Salon in London. Apparently it was commissioned specially by an important customer who later cancelled his order. Although this is a 31mm watch, you might agree that it wears well on my wrist.
