FRAMII presents a compelling dilemma between two horological titans: a Greubel Forsey GMT and a Patek Philippe Minute Repeater World Time. This discussion explores the nuances of choosing between groundbreaking innovation and traditional haute horlogerie, offering insights into wearability, finishing, and long-term value for ultra-high-end collectors.

I’m trying to decide between these two watches, different brands different complications, different style. Any good opinions?

Thanks.

whether you want a MR or a cool tourbillion. Good luck with your decision and hope one day I could join the 5531 club with you.

Simply no comparison. GF is the pinnacle of watch making. I have both the GMT and GMT Earth variations of GF. The wrist presence is massive and the watch is a pure work of art.

The only thing might be, even if I'm sure you'll qualify, the waiting times for the 5531...can your AD give you an estimate before you commit? Less than a year would be extremely good for it, but you might have to wait a lot longer...;-) Please keep us posted!
