Hello Patek Philippe lovers,
I have a tale of woe for you all.  MISERY HAS MANY FRIENDS

This happened to a good friend of mine.  We'll call him Phil to protect the guilty (and because he may be reading this).

Phil was a successful captain of industry.  He started his own business in his 20s.
Phil had been divorced numerous times.

Phil had the same mistress for the past 20 years.  He is a loyal guy.

Anyhow Phil came home one day and discovered the trophy wife did not yet understand how the world worked.

Phil had recently bought a 5396R and had the watch next to his bed in the master bedroom.

Well Phil was lucky...... the wife through the Patek box (with Patek 5396) inside.

The results are as follows.

Needless to say the "make up" intimacy was amazing.

The Patek box did break but the watch was protected..... albeit the watch needed a full service at Henry Stern.
