For me, I prefer the salmon dial but I would love to own either but I would have to trade everything else I own for the pleasureβ¦
much prefer round watches. The LE 5100 while not inexpensive seems to be a relative bargain.
The finishing on the movement in this gondolo is something you'd expect to see in Independents. It shows that Patek clearly has the capability to do wide englage, sharp external angles and highly finished tourbillion bridges. I find it disappointing that they refuse to do this kind of work on their modern watches...
