GLau offers a pictorial summary of Patek Philippe's 2026 new releases, including the 50th-anniversary Nautilus limited editions and the intriguing 5249R automaton. His initial impressions, gathered from an Asian AD, provide a valuable early look for collectors, highlighting key design choices and inviting community discussion on these highly anticipated models.

Had technical issues accessing the official releases but was happy to see a Patek AD (Cortina) in Asia (multi-brand) providing the following photos with reference numbers.

The 50th anniversary limited edition pieces for Nautilus are also included.  Different from the ones a decade ago, there is no date function and so the dial is very clean to me.  Furthermore, no indication of 50th on the dial and only shown on rotor in the back, thus more subtle.

Any piece(s) sing to you ?  The 5249R with automatons providing time on demand caught my attention because it is artistic and is unusual.

I will be traveling to Geneva later tonight and will  provide more information as soon as I can, especially on Rare Handcrafts,

If you have additional photos and details, please feel free to share.

the dial on new Nautilus is too blue, i like grey/blue dials way more then just blue. Other than that nothing really caught my eye.

1. 6105G-001: It dares to present a design they never did before. The Richard Mille for intellectuals, if you will... 2. 5810/1G-001: The 41mm size and the 240 microrotor movement makes this very compelling to me and I would love to own one (if that happens, my 5711J is looking for a new caring home). 3. 5227G-015: I wish they had made the 6196P with a date instead of giving the 5227G the salmon treatment. That being said, the 6196P and the 5227G could easily be the best Calatravas since the lau

Love the diamond markers on the dial more than the smaller plat edition

... this is the star of the show for me but 47mm is not for the faint of heart. Other than that the platinum 50th Nautilus is very nice. For practical reasons I tend to prefer a date though. Also not a fan of the engraving on the rotor which looks kinda cheap and carelessly executed to me. Much less of an issue than the 40th tombstone though.

But 47mm is very large even for a lugless watch.. in any case, itโ€™s cool to see a lugless patek case I particularly like the 5810/1G and 5227G Finally a dateless 2 hand nautilus and itโ€™s nice that they reworked the 5227 case to thicken the bezel.. the previous 5227 had too thin a bezel for my taste.. not sure how the black hands and hr index work with the salmon dial though - canโ€™t wait to see it in the metal

Actually I couldn't find the Nautilus novelties when I checked Patek's website this morning, so you have just discovered then to me! Safe travels and see you soon!
