Emmanuel, known as quattro, shares his admiration for the Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Memory Time, highlighting its availability in all four precious metals. He challenges his own preference for warm gold tones by leaning towards the platinum version, prompting a community discussion on which metal best suits this iconic timepiece. The post also draws attention to the exceptional artistry of the Toric case design.

Are two of my favorite precious metals, although I do not own either as of today. The last time I looked at it seriously was a Cartier Tortue CPCP in PT and the metal looked cold and not very attractive on my wrist, especially compared to the warmth of the rose gold. In the case of PF, the PT looks surprisingly attractive, including the cabochon which gives it a bit of a Cartier feel.
White metals often feel too cold for me too. It only "works" for me with certain pieces like the 5098P. Best, Emmanuel
Rose gold has something special too .
Fab shots too. I like 'em all. Platinum would be my choice if forced you choose. Any idea on the production numbers for these? 🙏
In person, I could like it more the Pt. Best, Emmanuel
Would 100-200 pieces per metal sound likely? Best, Emmanuel
