Parmigiani  2010 Novelties

A relatively conservative year for Parmigiani, as it mostly focused on refining its current collection by redesigning some of the cases, incorporating bolder and more elaborate dials.

The new Bugatti watch is the "Bugatti Atalante Centenaire Flyback Chronograph", with reverse chrono pushers on the left side of the case (the bottom pusher activates the chronograph)

Some elements of the car is incorporated (e.g., the stripe patterns on the dial are inspired by Bugatti's radiator grill). The logo "EB" at the 6'O clock position.

Attractive pieces, overall.

Tonda Hemisphere in WG and RG. With redesigned case and dials.

Comparison of the new case (right) with the previous Tonda case (left). Notice that the new case is slightly larger, and that the lugs now protrude a bit less.

Kalpa XL Tourbillon in RG and Pt.

Check out the blackend movement on the Pt. version!

Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon - Chronograph

Pershing 45mm Openworked Tourbillon

Tonda Automatic Perpetual Calendar Openwork in WG.

For me, a real eye candy is the Tecnica Crystallisation (piece unique) in platinum, featuring skeleton dial, tourbillon, chronograph, minute repeater with cathedral chime (I activated the repeater and listened to it, sounds very nice and has a nice resonance to it).

On the back is an enameling work with a three dimensional effect.

My favorite amongst all of them is the Tonda perpetual calendar openwork. It's quite mesmerizing to look at, and has interesting retrograde date and double moonphase. In WG, it is sensibly priced at approx. 54,000 euros.

Now, which models do you like?

Yours truly,

Jon (Z3)

Tonda Perpetual Calendar Openwork also my fav...

It has a very interesting looking dial with the wide angled retrograde. Is that the Cal 333 movement? Did they have any new female versions of the Tonda Retrograde Perpetual Calendar?
