In this WatchProSite feature, amanico chronicles a Parisian 'GTG' (Get-Together) that brought together both long-standing and new members of the watch collecting community. His post highlights the enduring spirit of camaraderie and shared passion for horology, even amidst challenging global circumstances. This article captures the essence of these personal gatherings, which are fundamental to the WatchProSite experience.

Thomas aka Tombub had the idea to have a GTG in Paris, as he came from his dear Corsica to the " Continent " for a couple of days.

So I started to call my local contacts to see who could come on this last Thursday. We managed to be 5, which is not that much, but we are limited to 6 in Paris right now.

The magic of these GTG is the blend between old and new friends. The old friends, you know them: Mahesh, Tom and Sebi. The new member of the Gang, Olivier aka Alfihar. All with the same spirit, sharing passion and love for watches, whatever the size of your collection.

Add some great wines, food and music, and here we are.

Here are some pictures of event. Credit pictures; Sebi.

No need to say that we had a blast. And that it is a bowl of fresh air in these tough times...

To the next one!

Best,

Nicolas
