Larrykelley11's exploration of strap comfort for the Panerai Navy SEAL highlights a common dilemma for collectors: balancing aesthetic appeal with wearability. His direct comparison between the watch's original rigid camo strap and a more pliable orange rubber alternative sparks a conversation relevant to anyone seeking optimal comfort from their luxury timepiece. This piece delves into the community's shared experiences and solutions for breaking in stiff OEM straps.

One is, obviously, louder than the other π€π
I love textile straps, but I share your frustration with certain textile straps that are rigid. Others have given advice about storing them on a watch cushion or similar to help them conform better to the wrist. It just takes more time and patience.
And you can change it back to camo or another strap within minute
Quite some watch brands still use excessively hard straps as OEM fitments, that take ages to break in. Unfortunate indeedβ¦
This is my go to for any of my stiffer straps.
I believe that companies create products and then never actually use them, hence the disconnect.
