The Venue

Founded in 1997, Singapore’s award-winning microbrewery restaurant, Brewerkz Restaurant & Microbrewery, was the brain-child of US-born Devin Oto Kimble and Daniel Flores, who initially modeled it after similar concepts in the USA and Canada.

The iconic full-service restaurant features high quality American-style food and a full range of premium beers handcrafted on-site from the 10 hl microbrewery attached to the restaurant.

Most notable attraction of the restaurant is the distinctly featured custom-made microbrewery built by Newlands Systems Inc in Abbotsford, BC Canada. Equipped with specially fabricated fermentation tanks that have been designed to minimize floor-space needs, the brewing system produces over 2,500 hectoliters of beer per annum, nearly all of which is drunk at both Brewerkz locations and their sister concepts Café Iguana and Garage.

The People

Some familiar faces, some crossovers from Paneristi, some for the first time. We also had 3 Indonesian PAM collectors who flew over just to join in the festivities.

Coincidentally, it was also the birthday of a fellow PAM collector. Strangely, he didnt grasp the concept of blowing out the candle, but used his tongue to extinguish the flame instead smile-.

The Watches

Just PAMs.....

PAMs plus some supporting casts.....

The End.....

Some clown fell asleep with all the watches....

Pitstop before heading home...

Hope you all enjoyed the pictures.

best,

Horo

About the Panerai Pendulum Clock Ref. PAM500

The Panerai Nautical Curvimeter PAM500 is a specialized instrument rather than a traditional wristwatch, designed for navigation and measurement. This particular reference is notable for its limited production and its connection to the "Slytech" line, indicated by the fourth line on its dial. It represents a unique offering within Panerai's historical instrument lineage, distinct from their more commonly known timepieces. Its purpose is to measure distances on maps, reflecting Panerai's heritage in precision tools.

This curvimeter features a substantial 42 mm case, crafted from wood and glass, housing a key-wound movement with an 8-day power reserve. The instrument's construction emphasizes its functional design, with a clear glass crystal protecting the dial. The robust build and specific measurement function underscore its utility as a navigational aid, aligning with Panerai's historical role in supplying instruments to the Italian Navy.

The PAM500 appeals to collectors interested in Panerai's broader history of precision instruments, beyond just wristwatches. Its rarity, coupled with the "Slytech" dial inscription, makes it a distinctive piece for those who appreciate the brand's less common offerings. The limited release, reportedly not reaching its full planned production of 500 units, further contributes to its collectibility and unique position within the Panerai catalog.
