Nicolas (amanico) introduces the fascinating 1969 OSI Ford 2.3 V6, a rare Italo-American collaboration that often goes overlooked. His post highlights its unique design, modest performance, and limited production, inviting enthusiasts to appreciate this distinctive piece of automotive history. This article delves into the community's insights on its styling, heritage, and place in the classic car landscape.

An italo american collaboration, this OSI Ford.

Not super powerful, with its 110 HP and its 180 Km/h speed, but quite an interesting car.

It looks like the love child of a Fiat Dino and a Mustang, don't you think?

Only 2200 were made.

Best,

Nicolas

And surprised so many are actually made. Looking quite stylish for the times and performance is sprightlier than imagined given the engine 👌🏻👍🏻

It reminds me of the looks and style of some of the ISO cars although they used Chevrolet Corvette engines so had considerably more power and performance. Marc

I doubt the Americans had anything to do with it. In 1969 they were busy building big bad muscle cars.
