Yes: this is a flexible enough nib for work and calligraphic fun; this said, my preference is for a B nib 149 that is somehow stubbish out of the box (but which is not so useful for note taking). The funny story is that both of these 149s were purchased at the MB store in Malpensa from the same nice lady who works there. I'm glad you had good service at the MB store. I remember the 146 with the same nib but, like you, my preference is for the 149. The flex nib is great for long meetings because it's like writing with a shock absorber on the pen. All the best, Jon
