Mach's original post, featuring his 'Snow White' Omega Speedmaster, sparked a lively discussion among collectors. His initial impressions, formed after seeing the watch on Daniel Craig's wrist, evolved significantly upon experiencing the timepiece in person. This article delves into the community's perspective on this notable Omega release, exploring its appeal and how it stacks up against other iconic sports watches.

One of my most favourite watches of this year and of the last several years. Always loved a Speedy, and this new dial really does sing to me. To me, this Speedy beats both the current steel Daytona’s in terms of looks. I would buy this before either of them. (My answer is different as we go back to a 16520 though; but in terms of today’s models it’s Omega for me).
. . . and a Rail this fine Saturday morning. Hopefully beer and Rail s to share later today ;-) . . .
This Snow White, the recent FOIS, and the also recent monochromatic Diver 300m. This white dial might be the only one I get. Or maybe all 3!! ;-)
Enjoy the weekend too, Mach.
Thing is I never understood why the Rolex snobbery. I love them BOTH…in fact it could be said that without the eternal struggle both brands would suffer. I’m an Omega guy but my mouth (and wallet) water whenever I see a Rootbeer or SD….
I can say definitely that I don’t love them both equally, but there have always been an Omega or three which I’ve been drawn to.
