Dear fellow Purists. A couple of months ago i was lucky enough to buy a nice (beaten) Seamaster 30 for a small price. My eagle-eyes smile told me this was a nice piece so i took it back home.

As you can see it has seen some rough time since its birth back in 1963. I gave the watch to our dear Graham who happens to know an excellent watchmaker and this very morning i received my beloved first Omega in the mailbox.

Doesn't this dial look cool? And the Omega-logo on the new plexi confirms it's not a fake (the plexi that is smile ..).

The case got a polish, the 286 calibre a full service and a new plexi completes the story.

Many thanks to Graham and his watchmaker (I'll send you the money Graham as soon as my wife gives me back my VISA smile ...), they did a fantastic job.

A wristshot to end my post on my new old watch.

Oh, right .. i received another watch last monday ... this picture probably says enough .... smile ... to be continued .... .. Cheers from Le Bim

its totally transformed Filip, and for a bargain price.

for anyone reading this from UK or EU, my watchmaker is very very good as you can see and very cheap. pm me if you want his email. i love the Buzz toy although its technically incorrect. Buzz didnt wear a speedy on the moon, he gave his to Neil to wear as Neils was in the module. ever pedantic Graham

Technically it IS correct, because ...

... Buzz was having a drink at my place and whenever he comes to my place he wears the Speedy ... .
