Briefly, 2494 was a jumbo Seamaster reference that was issued in both chronometer and unrated versions. Most chronometer rated 2494's are fitted with a cal 354 movement; mine and two others I've seen are 352's. Both of the other cal 352 2494's had 'Seamaster' on the dial.
