Omega seamaster limited edition 1948

Automatic, 38mm case, METAS cal. 8800 family, perfectly balanced subsecond subdial (glad they ditched their modified subsecond 1120 movement), AND FINALLY SHORT CENTRAL SECOND HAND!

Best gift ever for my birthday!! (22nd March πŸ˜‹)

Bravo Omega! Now I just need some donations to have both of them! Or simply gave them to me as a birthday gift lol.

While coincidentally, I wore this today... Poor man 1950es seamaster bumper non chronomètre..

Your poor man black 1948 Seamaster is very much my taste. I love the watches you posted. No date, super clean dial, very nice. I am impatient to know more details about them. [nt]

I wished I got skills to put things on my mind into words like people in here...

But as people says... Picture tells stories... πŸ˜‰

I really like these, although the one with the dauphine hands has an hour hand that looks way too short. [nt]

That was originally like that...

Though not longer but I wish it was a bit thicker... Or used alpha hands πŸ˜‚

The vintage handset looks much more proportionate than the new one IMO.

And it's not just that they're short relative to the overall case size and dial, but that they appear disproportionate (length of hour hand relative to length of minute hand).
