… with your thoughts on this brand. I feel it’s very important the fact that most models are readily available and the special releases have a reasonable waiting time. I have been a real fan of the Rolex brand for more than 50 years and I feel disappointed with the present marketing status where you can’t find the more popular models available in boutiques and AD’s and a secondary market asking prices which duplicate or triplicate (or more) the official retail prices. ....I was for many years a fan of Rolex and I still like their watches. But the behaviour of the brand and the unhealthy nature of the hype have driven me to Omega ...and I do not regret it! On top I have a special relation with Omega as this was the very first watch I used to own ....many many years ago.

I am an Omega lover as well, and while I only have two models right now, I'm aiming for more in the future. To me Omega right now is being managed almost perfectly. The movements are great, the diversity keeps the brand insteresting and the quality has never been higher. P.S.: I can wear omegas without having to constantly worry about being mugged or projecting my financial situation to people I don't know. They're just well made watches with a lot of soul.
