Ref 2609 and ref 2505 Both were around 38mm excluding the crown. I have since sold both of them.
Here's my 2272. SS ,powered by a 30T2 PC. Serial # 10 Mil. listed as 37.5mm, OT 2272 Type: Manual winding (mechanical) Caliber number: 260 / 265 Cal. 260 Created in 1941, 15 jewels Cal. 265 Created in 1949, 15 jewels Case : round (37,5 mm diameter) For leather straps of 20 mm lug-size And it's a bit smaller than the Jumbo 2545.

Hi Bill, I doubt that your watch is a 2609... Β it looks completely like my 2544 while the Β 2609 looks different as we can see by the other examples in this thread... Just an assumption! One of the 2 shown 2609 must be wrong or a marriage! Have you ever asked for an extract from the archives to confirm movement and case matching?? By looking at the lugs and shape, it's a 2544 powered by a 266 caliber like this one. and here is the lugs of her sister 2545.
