Great collection. Really like the rose gold CS on the blue strap. Great combo. Cheers, John
AP, F.P Journe, Seiko diver, Rolex GMT and Daytona and the list goes on. Can tell what is on the far right but looks like an independent. A real collector at heart. You show a huge range. Tell us a little about how you got to have such an eclectic collection. Welcome. Bill
What watch is between the FPJ and the Omega?
would love to hear your thoughts on the daytona vs. autodromo GT vs. hodinkee FOIS all 40mm chronos, but also very different from each other. I've been thinking about getting a sports watch and have considered all three at some point 1. daytona is favorite but don't really want to pay the secondary market prices 2. autodrom GT seems interesting (great price) but would like to see one in person 3. FOIS tried it on and felt a little too thick but really, i'm most jealous of the FPJ haha. congrats!
Quick reply- Daytona is king but I agree that grey market prices are crazy. Speedy H10 is better in person, ck-2998 case is great, manual wind, 30-second seconds sub dial is quirky, vintage ‘inspired’, limited to 500, cool story, etc.. The GT Endurance is a fun watch, especially if you like the Ford GT, it has a Meca-Quartz chrono which is funky, but I don’t think it is in the same conversation as the others, cheers
Enjoyed the diversity of this post and that Autodromo .
