Hello Purists, (Quite new to this forum posting thing)

Just thought I'd introduce myself, my name is Rob and I'm based in Manila / Singapore.

Been collecting watches since 2004 or so, and while I'm a newly registered member on this forum, I've been lurking on PuristsPro for years.

Meeting 2 esteemed Purists in Singapore recently (who taught me many things about Independents) led me to finally register.

To be completely frank, I do not have the width and breadth of the collections I see here, but I'm looking to learn from you guys. smile

As you can see with my pic, have started dipping my feet into independents but my collection is mostly made up of some (vintage) Rolex with a few odds and ends here and there.

Hoping to enrich my knowledge here (and perhaps make a few friends along the way)

Cheers guys.

Welcome Rob!

Greetings from Hong Kong, always nice to hear from a fellow Asian purists. Anyway the moser is an excellent choice as your first independent! Best, JTCL

Hello!

Hello JTCL! Used to visit HK quite often in my younger years, but now not quite as often as I'd like. Although I got this Moser from there. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Great to have you in our community

Was not aware of this iteration of Moser, quite a sporty but still elegant look. Well done! br, Dirk

Thank you Dirk :)

Yes, I was deciding between this steel Pioneer or the more classic Endeavour. But what sealed the deal was the news that they will be releasing a steel bracelet for this model. (a must for hot / humid tropics where I live.)

Would always read your posts, and am quite a fan of FP Journe. (The Octa QP is one of my grail watches.) Thanks for the warm welcome. , Rob
