In July 2020 Moser announced a new variation of the Pioneer Centre Second in the "Swiss 🇨🇭 Mad red fumé" dial.
I was in love with this dial since they first introduced it in the crazy cheese 🧀 watch and another venturer with a cow-hide like strap back in 2017. As a Swiss I thought this would be mega cool (like their new Pioneer model).
I wrote immediately to Moser but then the pandemic etc. it remained in the back of my mind.

Since I am enjoying the vantablack venturer a lot I thought that it would be nice to have a more casual and 120 Mt water resistant Pioneer Centre Second. I saw the blue,  and the cosmic green. The Mega Cool with blue laggon dial was just sold. That looked also interesting (on paper at least) but  I knew I wanted the red.

With a bit of work my AD managed to get one for me from another shop and here it is!

As all Moser fumé dials the color changes depending on the light and is simply marvelous!

With a better lighting the red is even more intense, more Swiss red! Can't wait to wear it also on the 1st August our 🇨🇭National holiday

At 42.8mm is not a small watch but fits very well being a sport watch.  The movement is the caliber HMC200, automatic with 72 hours of power reserve. My Venturer and the Swiss Alp Watch are both manual wind so I welcome some diversity.  Being in Steel is not heavy at all and the rubber strap is very comfortable (I didn't like the textile strap on the  Pioneer Cosmic Green).

I think that H. Moser is very innovative and never boring. There is a great diversity of dials and value/price is very high in my opinion. I do look forward to enjoy the week end with the Pionner!

How do you like it ? Let me know smile

Congratulations! I LOVE this! I've thought a lot about a red dialed watch...there are few options and red is a tough color - too dark and you lose the punch of the color, too light and it can be loud, in this fumee it is everything and amazing.
