About the H. Moser & Cie. Genesis Ref. 6200-1200

H. Moser & Cie.'s Genesis collection represents a bold departure from traditional Swiss watchmaking aesthetics, embodying the brand's philosophy of radical simplicity and contemporary design. The Genesis 2 continues this lineage with its distinctive case architecture and minimalist dial execution. As an independent manufacture founded in 1828 and revived in 2005, Moser has consistently challenged horological conventions while maintaining Swiss manufacturing excellence.

The Genesis 2 showcases Moser's technical prowess through its integrated bracelet construction and distinctive case geometry. The watch features the brand's signature fum dial treatment in deep black, creating an almost void-like surface that emphasizes the floating hands. The titanium construction reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity, and the flowing lines between case and bracelet demonstrate sophisticated manufacturing capabilities. The absence of hour markers reinforces Moser's commitment to pure, uncompromising design language.

Within the contemporary independent watchmaking landscape, the Genesis 2 occupies a unique position as both accessible entry point and design statement. Moser's relatively small production volumes and distinctive aesthetic approach have cultivated a dedicated collector following, particularly among those seeking alternatives to traditional luxury sports watches. The Genesis collection's modern interpretation of integrated bracelet design places it in conversation with iconic models from major manufactures while maintaining distinctly independent character and pricing strategy.

Case is SS, crown is 3D printed titanium … it carries forward some design cues from the original Genesis 1; in particular the pixelated/jagged effect of the crown and the hands

That really is a stunning looking H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Genesis 2 with the vantablack dial.

As it is a vantablack dial I would imagine the dial remains legible in all conditions as the dial will just absorb any light, oh and I love it. Marc
