mkt33 announces the arrival of two new Montblanc Timewalker models at US boutiques, first seen at SIHH 2011. The post highlights the redesigned Timewalker Chronograph in 18K red gold with a COSC-certified V7750 movement and a mother-of-pearl crown, alongside the Timewalker 'Club Brown' Chronograph. This detailed first look invites community feedback on these new releases and their design updates.

The Timewalker "Club Brown" Chronograph

We first saw these at SIHH 2011. SJX took some nice photos of them.
Finally after 6 months of waiting, these two models have finally arrived at the US Boutiques.
The Chronograph is 18K red gold and in the usual MB fashion, the precious metal models get a few "upgrades". First it utilizes a COSC V7750 movement (unlike the SS models which do not have the COSC certification). Next instead of a normal black and white resin MB crown, this one has the mother or pearl inlay. The strap is made of calf leather but has a interesting embossed texture with contrasting gold stitching. I like the new redesign.
In material alone, the case in gold costs almost as much as the complete Timewalker chrongraph in steel!

The Club Brown is essentially the same watch when it was released at SIHH 2010 with a black dial.
The dial, obviously, is now brown which follows current fashion trends.
Red accents are also different. I only wish the background color of the date wheel was matched to the dial.

If you see them at the boutiques, check them out and let me know what you all think.
I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts!
Enjoy, Mike
The brown and red combo looks great IMO. Cheers, Anthony
perhaps I'm just a "dull" guy. Will try to take some wrist shot soon. cheers, Mike
