WatchProSite contributor aWtchslvr recently had the opportunity to experience Montblanc's latest Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph in Zurich. His initial impressions highlight the watch's refined wearability at 43mm and its exceptional value proposition within the luxury chronograph market. This article delves into the community's perspective on this significant release and its place within the broader Rieussec lineage.

Mine says hi 🙂, it’s one of the original versions from when this was launched back in ‘09 . Since then they have come up with a number of variations , usually very well executed . Haven’t seen this one before , but it’s a wonderful look , and the strap goes especially well !
Very happy with it. Best.
so unique in design language and a caliber fully developed by Montblanc
with a tasteful design.
The Rieussec series started off well and the latest releases continue a strong series. The modern iterations feel just a bit cleaner, with the side windows replaced with a small subdial indicator and a great date window. I was happy to see the altimeter-style windows become less fashionable.
That’s a beauty , even better than the one you were checking out at the boutique ! 😊
