Friends,

Please help me welcome this addition to my little collection.

I promised KMII that I would share some pics today … So just a few quick shots and a few details before I call it a night.

This limited edition 42 mm neo-vintage (circa 1995) beauty was made with 32 examples. Each piece is individually numbered XX/32.

Was this part of the AVUS series ? I’m still not 100% sure as some old posts say yes but it does not have AVUS on the dial. The papers it came with does not say AVUS. (Do share if you know more about the specifics)

I love it.

It’s in sterling silver (buckle too) so it’s got that beautiful pearly-grey sort of hue. And it’s hefty.

The calibre is not a Minerva calibre and in some ways, this is even cooler. (Go figure πŸ˜…) The Valjoux 71 is a calibre that Minerva has used before and it’s finished decently well here.

Winding is smooth and the chrono pusher action is sharp and responsive.

I’ll post more over the coming days.

Hope you enjoy the quick shots.

Actually this is the Valjoux 71

Admin, if you could correct my orginal post, that would help decrease future confusion. Thanks πŸ™πŸ»
