Friends,

As fate would have it, I found a Minerva TZ LE Black dial as well. Hooray ☀️

It arrived just yesterday.

The TimeZone limited edition … calibre 49 manual wind … so they made 49 pieces in the black dial and 49 in the white dial in the year 2000. This was done only a few months before Minerva the company was sold.

Here are some pics… the black dial is not easy to photograph. Tons of reflections. The indices and hands have a copper-gold hue.

It’s about 23 years old (Neo-vintage) and these two are not so easy to find as they are collectors items. Sapphire crystal and a simple but well executed stepped case design.

At 36 mm, they wear more like a 37/38 mm as the bezel is thin and the watch is pretty much all dial. Love that it has no date too 😄 I also like the 12,3,6,9 numbers next to the dagger indices. All applied of course.

You may recall that I got the white dial first from another collector a month or so ago and had some luck to find the black dial too. ☺️

Thanks for reading ❤️

Thanks chief ☀️

So I was reading further and the grey family made some Minerva’s 3 handers with display caseback from circa 1997-2000. But this is the only one kn 36 mm So that makes it a little extra special.

Very nicely executed watches,

but the sight of the movement through the caseback is the real show-stopper, it is even more beautiful than the dial side! Wear them in good health!

Thanks Clemens ❤️

Will flip the watch over and wear it caseback side up. And use a marker to draw in the hands 😄

Well as you have 2 examples,

you can wear them together and always wear one of them upside down. Problem solved!
