As in the fourties the designers thought that this would improve the accuracy. The angles are all at 45, 90 and 180 degrees in the movement as an example. And overall the proportions are truly spot on ๐๐๐ป As for the accuracy, for an unregulated watch itโs impressive and easily in chronometer standards ๐๐ป
