Montblanc built a watch factory or manufacture in Le Locle in Jura, Switzerland in 1997 to expand its vision as a brand for the business oriented life style. At the current rate I am on a trajectory to get into writing instruments as well - not a good development Thanks for your extensive - and as always - excellently photographed report of this event! Wish I could also go for the steel encased 1858, alas not quite feasible at the moment.
I admit it is a great watch - dream chronograph, indeed with Minerva movement. But I am still nor sure of the size on my wrist....
