Ambel, an early adopter of the Montblanc 1858 Tachymeter, shares his enthusiasm for the bronze case and salmon dial variant, while also raising critical questions about Montblanc's strategy for limited editions. His post sparks a lively debate among collectors regarding brand positioning and market saturation. This discussion remains highly relevant for understanding how luxury brands manage exclusivity and collector sentiment.

sure if i like this combo 🤔 pref a steel case or wg with that dail imo
should have opted for never known custumor's specials (one-offs) but not 2LE of bronze for me a real turn-off, especially for all the early adapters of the the Rg and steel version
more mixing and matching of metals and dial colors to come...IMO
way to big and no flexibility on the price either (I know we don't talk about prices here but to me it is a big elephant in the room...the worse conditions I got were always from MB) so not surprised they did it again and probably will not be the end of it.
To heck (yes, heck!) with your resale value or whatever, I hope they Omega speedmaster this a thousand times until, at the 28th LE edition, they make one I can't resist. Seriously, as long as they keep with the great movement finishing, I'm happy that they sell this forever. I want one in every home.
as IMO we know we might be happy if we ever sell this above half off the list price
