Jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) shares his excitement from attending the MB&F Music Machine 2 launch event in Singapore, hosted by The Hour Glass. Max Busser is in town to launch the new MB&F Music Machine 2.
2 cocktail events were organized by the Hour Glass Singapore together with Max, one was held yesterday and tonight was the second session.
I was fortunate enough to be invited for the session tonight. Having just purchased my first independent watch, my MB&F Legacy Machine 101, I was very excited because this will be the first time I am meeting Max! I have been a fan of his creations for quite some time now.
Here are some pictures I took of the event. Several MB&F watches were on display from both Horological Machines and Legacy Machines series.
Also sharing a video I took of the Music Machine 2. It has 6 tunes and it happened to play my favorite Star Wars theme tune. The looks of the Music Machine 2 also reminded me of a certain spaceship in the a Star Wars series (can't remember which one - was it the one Han Solo pilots?)
The food and drinks served were fantastic too. Local fare like laksa (spicy noodles) and beef rendang (curry) were served and they were delicious.
Also all of a sudden unexpectedly, Kari showed up! He just landed in Singapore this morning and he's on vacation here. He came to support Max in this event. As my LM 101 was finished by him/his team, I took this chance to catch up with Kari too and together with Max, took a picture. I was very humbled to be with these 2 great independent watch masters. Guess I am still so exited that I cannot sleep tonight!
